There was a time, many moons again when my friend Grace of Law With Grace hosted something called Stolen Lines. A single line would be plucked from a book and shared on the blog – readers and writers would take the line, start a post with it and write whatever they pleased. They ended the post with the statement “This line was stolen from ____” and linked back on Law With Grace. In an attempt to get back into blogging, she has asked me to host the eighth round of Stolen Lines. This is a writing experiment open to all, so here goes nothing (and please feel free to join in)….
